AGC hosted a small technology meetup at the AGCFaktor offices in Kosovo on August 25. AGC Chief Technology Officer Ed Hagerty invited participants from a women’s coding interest group to attend a talk by Ben Allen, VP of engineering at AGC, about the AGC tech stack, based on the Meteor Framework. AGC is developing a software platform to support supply chain finance for our factor partners, their buyers and suppliers.
“Our hope is that by working with local interest groups,” said Ed, “we not only build a team, but we also promote women in programming—something that is surprisingly hard to do in any city.”
