Impact Investing Becomes a Portfolio Strategy

AGC co-founders share their insights about impact investing at European conference.

Admir Imami and Janet McKinley, co-founders of Advance Global Capital, were invited to participate in the Impact Capital Summit in The Hague during May. The meeting for European institutional investors and successful impact fund managers focused on the opportunity for impact investing. Participants related how impact investing is becoming a portfolio strategy as funds have begun to deliver on the promise of a double bottom line for investors. On the panel, Impact in Foundations and Family Offices, McKinley shared her experience at AGC as an advisor for Advance Trade Growth Fund (ATGF), an alternative ivestment fund comprised of discounted invoices from small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), primarily in emerging markets.
